It would be great it the documentation for Hybrid setup could be updated for AMS as well.

Are we supposed to still rely on xsuaa?

I'm not able to answer your question. But I can hint you towards documentation that is in the making, which I feel will help you. So if you want follow this PR and after it's merged and the next CAP release comes, it will be available on cap.cloud.sap.
