Implement subscription model and pricing

• Determine platform to run subscriptions from
  • Web platform (no app store/in-app integration; not worth fees)
    • Shopify?
    • square?
    • plaid?
• Determine which features will be paywalled
  • ML insights and associated content (discussions, reviews, etc.)
  • Telemedicine integration
  • Fitness tracker integration (incl. personalized body battery; based on attl model?)
• Determine pricing policy
  • No users pay until first paywallable feature stable (accurate model).
  • Start at half competitors' rate? (fitbit premium $10/$80 -> $5/$50?)
  • Start below cost of common subscriptions ($7 netflix) for low barrier to entry?
  • Pre-model data opt-ins (first wave training data, first 1000 users) get free premium for life?
  • All current customers grandfathered in at current rate if plan not cancelled.
  • Annual plans not refunded when switching to monthly; only resume as monthly when credit is depleted?
  • Allowed to switch from monthly to annual plans (annual = 10x monthly).
  • Monthly plans allowed to pause for up to 3 months without cancellation.
  • Free premium to users actively enrolled in clinical trial opt-ins? (kickback to cover cost? legality?)
• Determine referral program policy
  • Referrers receive half off for life of subscription? (would boost participation, but may negatively impact diversity. min refferals to qualify?)
  • 1 month credit per referred user subscribing to monthly plan for at least 2 cycles.
  • 2 months credit per referred user subscribing to annual plan.
  • 1 month credit per referral that opts in to data sharing? (needs legality check)
  • 2 month credit per referral maximum.
• Determine gift subscription policy
  • Allow for gifted subscriptions following same rules and transferring to giftee after 1 or 12 cycles for monthly or one for annual.
