List should be able to scroll to the currently selected item

When a list contains many items, some of them hidden by scrolling, we may want to allow to render the list so that the selected item is initially visible.

This is particularly useful e.g. for the SelectField menu, where we may want to see the selected item whenever the menu is opened.

This is the current behaviour when the year menu in the DatePicker is opened:
