May I suggest a direction in implementation?
If I remember correctly, the name of the person who changed the guard mode is shown in the mode change notification by keypad. However, this would work only for the people who have that notification enabled.
I think it might also work, when the mode is changed, to check the latest events, as it will always contain the name of who performed the action.
