Any ways to disable esc stopping webpages from loading/interrupting connection

I dont know exactly what happens when pressing esc when something is loading on a webpage but it stops it... It will also stop answers from claude/gpt/etc... from being generated which is pretty annoying. Any way to disable this and only use escape the regular way ??
