git branch / tags missing

There is no branch for MOODLE_405_STABLE and no git tags since 3.8

if we pull master, we get changes mid development cycle (current master is ahead of the moodle.org/plugins/ zip file).

could you please make a stable branch and/or tags for version 4.0.5 (2024051105) ?

Currently, the master branch is stable for version 4.5, but I'll wait a few days before publishing it to Moodle to give myself time to thoroughly review it. I don't usually manage tags because I don't like doing it from Git; for now, I'll always manage them with branches. "_STABLE" versions are those I'm no longer working on, except for bug fixes or security issues.
I understand that having a MOODLE_405_STABLE version would be ideal to avoid surprises, but keeping two branches up to date takes more time. However, in the coming days, I'll be working on testing for version 5.0 and will try to organize the branches a bit more.

P.S.: There is always the possibility of receiving code contributions or funding to work on these requirements.
