@retabak Here's a proposal to use or react to
Five-number summary: a comprehensive snapshot of the distribution of a dataset using the five most important percentiles: the minimum, the lower quartile (Q1), the median, the upper quartile (Q3), and the maximum

From Rachel: the only thing I'm a little uncertain about is "most important" percentiles

maybe "five benchmark percentiles"
