MD Book Quiz Goals for 2025 #2323

  • Dot plots (Rachel already has at least one question from the literature)
  • Translate the Mean, Median, Mode(S) checkin for Measures of Center lesson to MDBookquiz
  • Other measures of center assessment?
  • Histograms (we have a Desmos version from last year)
  • Box plots (we have a Desmos version from last year)
  • Linear Regression (we have a Desmos version from last year)
  • Threats to validity (we have a Desmos version from last year
  • pre and post tests for teachers
  • pre and post tests for students
  • Overarching understanding of functions - work on this with Kathi

Available Question types:

  • Multiple choice is possible (including T/F and with images as choices)
  • short answer is possible
  • Multiple select isn't currently supported, but shouldn't be hard to make happen.

@schanzer I know that we shouldn't be expecting card sorts for 2025, but wanted to put it on record that once mdbook quiz has the capacity to handle card sorts, we have a number of paper card sorts that it would be useful to have digital versions of, particularly if we are orienting toward more self-guided lessons.
