I've just started using BookWyrm and I enjoy it very much. However, while adding a plethora of books and looking around, I've got some ideas on how to improve BookWyrm even more:

  1. show original language (+ original title?) – I think it would be beneficial if there could be listed an original language of a book (and maybe even an original title, but this is not that crucial). Now it is not clear what edition is the original one. This was suggested also in this issue.
  2. add roles to "authors" – I know you can add multiple authors and one of them could also be the translator, but in my opinion, it would be much better if you could assign a "role" to the person, e.g. translator, illustrator. That way, it would be much more transparent. Stefan240 also suggested something similar.
  3. tags inside To Read – I saw this issue where shelves were discussed as a solution, but I would like to add tags inside To Read shelf so I can see on the first glance which books I actually own (and therefore, I should read them first).
  4. suggestions in search – This is not that essential as the previous ideas for me, but I would find it very helpful if there could be suggestions when searching.

Otherwise, I like BookWyrm a lot and I plan to add more and more Czech books to make BookWyrm accessible to Czech readers. You're doing a great job!
