Long press for menu of options

When I long press I'd expect to get a list of options that include:

delete
edit
read
open

not necessarily in that order.

What about having these as options on the menu button in the detail activity?

That might make sense as well, however I think it's a common pattern to long press on items in a list to get actions for that item and might be easier than figuring out button placement to start with.
