Issue with (unsupported) windows. Is windows support planned?

I hate WSL because it always uses too much memory while I am gaming and theres not much to do to help it besides turning off the wsl service
So I am trying to run a PDS on windows (although I understand its unadvised and unsupported and why do it because most servers run linux)
I am curious if windows is planned and if it is I may start taking notes of all the problems I run into
Starting with folder names for the accounts.
In the actor folder the : character is used and not supported by windows, which is my first hurdle i've encountered since starting the server
