[Bug]: During review, while watching event, other cam views dont sync

Describe the problem you are having

first.. let me say awesome work and frigate is very powerful and I am working to migrate from securityspy on a Mac VM fully... keep up the great work

so issue 1 .. and I dont recall if this was like this before updating to 15...

all cameras are in record, detect, clip mode

capture is set for motion and event record with 14 days retention

While pulling up a camera in HAOS on the frigate dashboard and going into history .. while reviewing an event.. while the primary camera reviews the footage and is playing the event .. the views of the other cameras dont change .

if I scrub the timeline.. all cameras update in sync and all views are in sync.. but stopping over a recoded event, the camera being reviewed in history begins to play. but the other cameras thumbnail stop and remain stationary until I scrub manually.. if that makes sense

issue 2 and not fixed with todays update on frigate card

while using the Home assistant app on Mac... while in the frigate dashboard... the page does not frame correctly when switching functions.

for example .. in camera view... if you select settings to bring up motion tuning / debug / etc.. the page does not render correctly until you expand/collapse the side bar. while the page is incorrectly rendered all buttons essentially dont work correctly either..

I hope this was helpful, and if I am doing something incorrectly or this is working as designed my appologies.. and consider issue 1 a feature request I guess... while reviewing footage of an event it would be great to see if there is any other activity on the other cameras...

I think more information is going to be needed, the syncing is working fine and has been for a while in my usage. A few things to keep in mind:

1. frames are only kept if motion is occurring. So if there was no motion on a separate camera that frame will not update.
2. There is an internal difference between the current hour and previous hours. It would be helpful to know where you are seeing the issue.
3. This repo is not related to the frigate card, that should be reported on the frigate card repo

thanks for the reply and sorry for posting to the wrong repo..

1.. so I understand that motion is not being recorded by cameras without motion.. but where does the image come from then while scrubbing the timeline and ALL cameras are updating images.. albeit with a very low quality preview?

2. I was seeing the behavior I believe in BOTH the current hour as well as past hours

3. sorry again for not realizing this is more a frigate card vs frigate issue...

the previews are saved separately, from the decoded detect frames. What browser are you using, maybe try chrome

I am Mac and iOS based mostly

I genererally use the home assistant app for both Mac and IOS but the issue is also in safari...

I can look at other browsers but in the end.. I would prefer if the behavior was consistent and worked in the native apps

essentially I believe the issue is likely this based on your reply

since the recorded stream and the preview data are 2 different data sets... the behavior needs to be this:

While in the history viewer, while the camera being reviewed is playing the event recorded date, the other camera thumbnails should be playing the preview data in time sync.. which it currently only does if I grab the timeline slider and scrub... should also do it while event video is being played

right, and as I said this is already how it works, I use the view often and have never had issues with it. No users have reported a bug with this behavior.

So, I ask you to try a different browser as part of the troubleshooting process so we can figure out what the difference is and why it might not be working for you.
