The UI's motion tuner page does not listen to changes made externally while it's open. If you want to view motion boxes and tune externally, the debug view is the recommended method. |

I can understand that, but shouldn't it not overwrite the current threshold value when finished tuning? I'm assuming it reverts to the config file value, but if we have automations to change based on environmental conditions, it'd be best to have it revert back to the setting before tuning. |

Describe the problem you are having
I have the motion_tuner open and I am sending commands via MQTT to update the motion_contour_area and motion_threshold. I see in the MQTT listener that the commands are successfully received by Frigate and the motion boxes show the sensitivity increasing or decreasing. However, the sliders don't update. Also, if I switch between tabs in Frigate or move the slider it overwrites what I had sent via MQTT and does not go back to what I had sent when exiting the motion tuner. If I send a command to change the value before going to the motion tuner page, when I get to the page it does not show the value I had sent and immediately overwrites what I had sent
