Checklist

I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.
I have tried reproducing the issue in incognito mode to rule out problems with any third party extensions or plugins I have installed.

Describe the problem you are having

When I view a camera, after a second or two it changes and displays a diagonal line along with color issues.

Steps to reproduce

Open UI
scroll to camera
Wait 1-10s
Observe video change to low quality with bad color/artifacts
I don't know what confounding factors cause this.

I could use a second Coral TPU

Any other information that may be helpful

It seems like something switches in the UI after viewing the camera for a few seconds. Maybe to save bandwidth or something.. Recordings appear unaffected. This affects the browser stream.

I already tried the FAQ, I obtained the stream width/height parameters, updated to standard, I converted all streams to go2RTC. That FAQ kinda says that go2rtc should fix it.

When the live player falls back to the jsmpeg mode because of a low bandwidth condition or streaming errors, the artifacts may still display if your detect width and height are not set at a standard aspect ratio.

What camera are you having issues with, and what width and height values have you tried setting it to?

The width/height trick worked on one camera. But the go2rtc streams right_side_of_house_stream, right_side_of_house_rotate, and the camera right_side_of_house is still having an issue. Not sure how to correct it. I tried width/height of 1080x1920 and 1440x2560 for this camera after the rotate.

Glad to hear the dimensions worked for you. Users who have had the issue have not found a simple way to fix it for software-rotated cameras, unfortunately.

Frigate 0.16 will have a "compatibility mode" feature to correct, though.
