parameterID IS required (reference docs state "not required")

Reference docs say the parameterID in node is not required.

However, it is certainly required.

I've just partly finished a dawproject exporter tool for Renoise. That's why I know for sure.

parameterID is used in Studio One to map the vst3 parameter to the parameter automation points.

It is currently required by bitwig if it is used in the Parameters block of the plugin. But I don't think it is required for other sub-classes (Real/Bool/IntParameter & co) that might be used just to hold values and no automation binding for the normal track mixer volume/pan/solo stuff.
