Bitwarden Beta

  • I'm using the new native Bitwarden Beta app and I'm aware that legacy .NET app bugs should be reported in bitwarden/mobile

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Make sure it is the first time logging into the account, with Trusted devices enabled (https://bitwarden.com/help/setup-sso-with-trusted-devices/)
  2. Enter your email address and select "bitwarden.eu" server
  3. Select enterprise single sign-on
  4. Login using your enterprise credentials
  5. Select continue on the "trust device page"

Expected Result

Have the account trust this device and continue to the vault.

Actual Result

Receive the error message "An error has occured"

Additional Context

If the account already has a trusted device, then the administrator must approve this device. That does work. It is only when logging in for the very first time.

Build Version

2024.9.2

Environment Details

  • Device: Iphone 16
  • OS: IOS 18
  • Vault server: bitwarden.eu
  • Authentication: SSO

Issue Tracking Info

  • I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.

Hi there,

I am unable to reproduce this issue, it has been escalated for further investigation. If you have more information that can help us, please add it below.

Thanks!

@rdeblauwe-tlv Are you using a claimed domain by chance to bypass setting the organization identifier prior to SSO?
