Im having an issue on the latest 2.4.1 build where the smartcast module will lose connection every so often and require it to be disabled and reenabled. Works fine afterwards. I have tried reconnecting the network at the TV etc. Anyone else? Ideas? Thanks

Still happening in 3.0 with a now wired connectio to the TV. Did not happen in earlier version of V2 so I do believe its Companion related rather than the TV itself. Ideas? Thank you!

Any ideas on this issue? Module works great but these disconnects are seemingly random so it affects reliability. Thank you!

I keep disconnecting and needing to re-setup the auth token.

I have this issue also and assumed it was the TVs...

Any update on when the random disconnects will be fixed? I have been running into this issue ever since upgrading to version 3 of the software. Currently on version 3.1.2 and the module will randomly shut down. disabling for few seconds and the enabling again gets everything working but I need my non tech savvy people to be able to come in and just press a button on the stream deck and get it to work.

Current setup is Companion PI version 3,1,4 on Raspberry 4 - 4GB

How does it do on companion 2.4.2

Still happening on 3.2.2. I have created buttons that monitor the connections to our Vizio TV's the buttons turn red when the connection drops. When the connection drops, I have another button that disables the connection waits 1 second and then enables the connection. This works but a stable connection would be ideal.

If you need any logs let me know and I can start collecting them to help troubleshoot the issue.

Thanks for all you do.

I have a similar issue. The pair device and enter pin buttons work fine to connect to the TV. However, an authorization code does not show up. So, after a while, the connect requires me to redo the pair device and enter pin again. Which defeats the purpose as in the time it takes to set up, I could just use the remote. Please advise.
