If there is no output sent for an extended period of time (30 minutes? 60 minutes?), the websocket session is terminated by Watson STT raising an exception in the websocket. Fixing this is probably related to the quick fix for #5 where if the socket emits an error, then we want to restart the transcribe process for that channel.
