Compiling B2 with support for python

Hi all,
I am having trouble trying to compile B2 4.9.3 with python support (either 2.7 and 3.8) in Windows 10. There is no compile error but when I run the generated binary in my project I get:
ERROR: rule "PYTHON_IMPORT_RULE" unknown in module "compare_version".
According to messages in this list, this error is due to B2 binary not being linked to the python library.
Python is installed in c:\python38 and c:\python27, both are registered in the windows registry.
I have user-config.jam in the user root directory with the following content:
... using msvc : 14.2 ; using python : 3.8 # version : C:/Python38/python3.exe # Interpreter/path to dir : C:/Python38/include # includes : C:/Python38/libs # libs : # conditions ;
I tried passing arguments to bootstrap.bat, but the only argument it uses is the compiler toolset.
Any help is appreciated.

The Python integration was removed in 4.9.0 (https://github.com/bfgroup/b2/releases/tag/4.9.0). But if you are using only, regular, b2 for building you shouldn't have noticed a difference or gotten errors. Can you give more details on how you are using b2 that you are running into this error?

Hi, thanks for your answer. I used python to compare versions of my files, I removed that code and then I got a clean build, no errors.
