Possibility to add comments

I would like to have the possibility to write and add comments from the cli. Could this be done?

I think this is something that would be really cool to have. We could let the user write their response in their preferred $EDITOR etc., however there are currently two blockers in the way of this happening at the moment:

1. Dependency on a pager (less) for reading comments. Since we are using a pager, there is no way to do anything from within it, like replying. The solution would be to implement a custom reader using BubbleTea only. This is something i would like to do, but it is a very large task. By staying in BubbleTea completely, we can also collapse individual threads etc.
2. No official APIs. Other HN readers circumvent this by implementing their own APIs, however this is not something that I would like to get into implementing myself.

So in short: yes, this is something i'd like to add, but some larger obstacles are currently in the way of that.

Yes, sorry I should have clarified that they don’t have official API for posting comments. I am already using their official APIs for fetching the stories etc. Thanks for letting me know regardless.
