My name is Kritika Sharma and I am in the middle of making a project where I have to implement Kalman Filter. Now I have GPS long, lat coordinates(which I will be getting through android phone) and I want to predict the velocity of the car the phone is in. Can you tell me its code. How can we implement it? What and how will we input our data and get our output? My email id is [email protected]. It is urgent and if you could help me it'll be great.

Hi @kritikas726,

Don't you think that you ask a little too much?
I get the feeling you didn't even read this excellent introduction into practical Kalman filtering.
The author(s) provide good explanations and workable source code -- from which you could easily start.

I think, you should do your homework first, before asking that somebody else solves your entire problem. You literally ask for an end-to-end solution ("[...] input [...] output [...]").

Moreover, you SHOUT OUT to the community (rather rude in my opinion) and cross-post this question of yours across multiple projects, thus provoking redundant work by the community. Do you think that this behavior lets you stand in a bright light so that many people will be eager to help you?

If I could, I would close the issue at this point. Just my two cents.

Good luck!

Hi, I apologize for my behavior if you found it rude, it really wasn't my intention. Its not the case that I haven't read or not tried to understand Kalman filter. I have tried and its been almost 4 weeks in which me and my 3 teams mates have tried to understand it and implement it. We are a total novice at python as well as android so its proving quite difficult for us. But I understand your point of view and I sincerely apologize. I'm sorry.

Thanks for the clarification. From my part I can accept your apology.
