Hi,

Let me start with a thank you for the VThermo app for Homey. I use it in many applications today and it have helped me a lot in both getting max/min/average temps or humidities between multiple sensors and at the same time giving me the ease of controlling the target temperature with the dial. Simply great so thanks!

I do have a proposal for making the hygrostat even better.

Let me start with a little bit of background.
I have an application where I use it as one component to measure the dehumidifier in the crawl space beneath my house and today I do not use the VHygro to control the target humidity. I simply use it to calculate the average humidity over a number of humidity sensors.
The reason why it's not controlling the humidity is that the target value is not fixed.
I calculate the target humidity using the old Spline app as it allows me to vary the humidity by the current temperature in the crawlspace. The reason for doing so is that the risk of mold is decreased with sinking temperatures and stops completely at 0 degrees Celcius. The reason for wanting to do it like this is rather given. It saves a log of energy as the dehumidifier will only run when it's needed and not aim for an unneccesary low humidity when the compartment is colder.
Unfortunately Spline has been discontinued and removed from the app store but as I had it prior to that I am still using it. I have however managed to create a formula from the control graph that can be used instead to calculate the target humidity based on the temperature.

So the proposal is this.
If there could be the something mimicing the old spline app or the possibility to add a complex formula that recalculates the target humidity based on the current temperature when there is a change in temperature, this would make the app even more useful.
The dial would not have to be used for regulating the humidity in that mode but could perhaps be used to set a + or - offset from the control curve instead?
As the current VHygro virtual device is very useful as it is, perhaps this proposed function is best added as an alternate virtual VHygro device?

Thanks again for a great app! :-)
