With the solution, Karpenter is not able to remove nodes gpu-serve and gpu-training.

This is because in the AWSNoteTemplate, we specify the tags Name:

  tags:
    InstanceType: "gpu"
    Name: "gpu-serve"  # optional, add tags for your own use

And that in the default policy of Karpenter it has only the right to delete the instance if the Name contain karpenter

Maybe the Fix may not be in this repo, but in the blueprint addons repository
