Hi,

Is there an app that can be used with the self hosted version? I thought maybe the official app would let you enter a url but I don't see that option.

The official app indeed does not allow changing the URL. As far as I know, there is also no fork (yet), that added this feature. What you can do, is to change the base URL in the strings.constants.xml and compile your own version. I'm running an adapted app like this, but never took the time to make a version where the URL could just be set in the UI.

There is also an issue open for the iOS app to add this flexibility and it sounds to me that they might even merge a pull-request in the official app, if someone implements this, as long as this option would be hidden / can only be accessed via some special menu.

I tried building using android studio and github actions, but still no luck.
I tried the main branch and tag 4.7.1, but I get a bunch of errors and no apk

It's a bit longer ago, that I built the app the last time, so I'm still on the version 4.5.0. I didn't do much more than change the URLs, open the project in Android Studio and press build, if I recall correctly.

there is a pull request in the official repo, right now.

Im compiling my own, but this would be just awesome!.. maybe you can help with that ? like the same way as with this docker container ?
