Check python version at the beginning of the code

Code only support Python 3, but could probably support Python 2.7 with following imports:

import sys
if sys.version_info < (3,0):
    from __future__ import absolute_import, division, print_function

[astromam]

lines have been added but code still doesn't work on python 2.7
