I've recently started using avian 3d and its SpatialQuery has some overlap of functionality with rstar which I was previously using for spatial queries. However I have not figured out how to recreate something like rstar's get_nearest_neighbour method with avian. I've considered shape casting but a size for the shape is required which limits the search space. Is this possible?
