I haven't yet tested this to see if a child theme can work with this as the parent theme

Technically, it's possible to create a child theme using the stylesheet in the child theme directory which includes a template.

Template: forage/resources

Adding /resources points to the directory where styles.css exists in the parent.

While technically a valid child theme, we still need the build system from Vite to also be replicated in the child theme.
