I am an Assistant Professor of Remote Sensing in the Department of Geography at the Soran University. My research interests are remote sensing, Geographic Information Science (GIS), climate and environmental change. More specifically, I am interested in applying R and Python Programming, geospatial big data, and cloud computing (e.g., Google Earth Engine) to study climate, environmental and Land use land cover change. I am an open science advocate. More information about my research and teaching can be found on my university website and my blog.
