Weird Highlighting Behavior For MathTip #2480

Steps to Reproduce

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
  <meta charset="UTF-8">
  <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
  <title>Change FontShape of MathField</title>
  <script defer src="https://unpkg.com/mathlive"></script>
</head>
<body>
<math-field>\mathtip{x+1}{test}</math-field>
</body>
</html>
  1. Run the above code
  2. Try to highlight part of $x+1$

Actual Behavior

It is only possible to highlight all of $x+1$ at once.

Expected Behavior

It should be possible to highlight part of $x+1$ (like just the $x$) since it is possible to move the arrow key inside of the $x+1$
