'Canvas' is a drawing android application targeted especially for the kids.
- Choose the color of the paint brush from preloaded colors
- Select the thickness for painting brush (Basic 3 options)
- Ask for the user's permission to access the phone's galary
- Draw over the image once the image is loaded and displayed on the canvas.
- Undo any changes made
- Redo any changes made by undoing
- Clear the canvas (including the image loaded)
These instructions will help you get a copy of the Canvas project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.
- Android Studio installed on your machine
- Android device or emulator running Android OS (minimum SDK version XX)
- Clone the repository to your local machine using the following command:
git clone https://github.com/armaanjaj/Canvas
- Open Android Studio and select "Open an Existing Project."
- Navigate to the cloned directory and select the Canvas project.
- Let Android Studio import the project and download any necessary dependencies.
- In Android Studio, open the
gradle.properties
file. - Replace the values of the following properties with your own configuration:
App Configuration
* appVersionCode=1
* appVersionName=1.0
SDK Versions
* compileSdkVersion=33
* minSdkVersion=24
* targetSdkVersion=33
Build Types
* release
* minifyEnabled = false
Kotlin Options
* jvmTarget = 1.8
- Connect your Android device to your machine or start an emulator.
- Build and run the app from Android Studio.
