"Menu" flashes/disappears in Google Chrome

I am quite new to js but I have successfully added responsize-nav to an existing website menu. Everything works fine in Firefox but when I test the mobile menu in Google Chrome, the menu label (MENU) flashes (disappears and reappears very quickly) when a menu link is clicked. I do not see this problem in Firefox or IE. You can see what I mean here:

Any idea what could be causing this or how it could be corrected?

Hmm, that does not seem to be working for my problem. I think that thread might be addressing a different problem? Does anyone have any other ideas about solving this? It is hard to address since it is working just fine in all browsers except for Google Chrome.

Have you added any additional styles to the navigation, If the navigation has fixed heights / widths, the menu glitches?
