Can't access external storage #401

I'm trying to access media from a USB-C drive that I have plugged into my phone, but Jidoujisho can only seem to access files from the internal storage. Other apps like the phone's default file manager can access it though. I'd like to avoid copying all my media directly onto my phone, so I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this. I'm using 2.9.0 on a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (Android 14).

People are experiencing some issues with 2.9.0. Try downgrading to the latest stable version (2.8.9) and see if the problem is fixed.

Seems like I can't downgrade to 2.8.9 on Android 14. I tried installing the apk but my phone won't open it.

You'll probably need to uninstall 2.9.0 then install 2.8.9, unfortunately.
