No sound with i2s on esp32s3? [Solved]

I have compiled Tasmota v14.4.1 for esp32s3 with #define USE_I2S_ALL and set up the i2s pins for I2S_WS, I2S_BCLK, I2S_DOUT.

I2SRtttl beep: d=4,o=5,b=180: 8e responds with RESULT: {"I2SRtttl":"beep: d=4,o=5,b=180: 8e"} but I hear nothing.

Likewise for web radio.

With esp32s2 it works.

Could it be that there is an isue wth i2s on esp32s3?
I tried with 2 esp32s3 devices (YD-ESP32-23 N16R8; similar to ESP32 S3 DevKitC1) and 2 i2s DACs, so I doubt my hardware is faulty.

Running the command I2SRtttl beep: d=4,o=5,b=180: 8e on an ESP32-S3 with I2S configured resulted in a clearly audible beep from the speaker.

Thanks for testing @sfromis, turns out my issue was an electrical one. Apparently on the YD-ESP32-23 N16R8, the pin labeled "5Vin" is not what I thought it was. It neded a solder bridge on its 'IN-OUT' jumper. Sorry for the noise, and thanks for your help. Case solved!
