Every minute stepper motor command with adjustable number of steps

Hello,
I need a clock that commands a stepper motor every 60 seconds and I need to be able to set the number of steps that the motor takes at each command.
I use the RTC module based on DS3231 and an LCD screen.
Considering that I want to use this device in an open field without internet, could buttons be added to set the date, time and number of steps for the stepper motor?
