Swaping of datasets in the charts resets all the fields and triggers banner for "No form settings were maintained"

Hello All,
I am noticing the following issue and wondering if anyone else experienced this too.
I have a line chart with metrics and dimensions based on a dataset. I had to delete the dataset for this chart and make a new one.
For this, I used the "Swap Dataset" option. But doing so triggers the following message:

No form settings were maintained

We were unable to carry over any controls when switching to this new dataset.

Has anyone else experienced this too? If yes, what might be a solution?

How to replicate

1. Create a dataset using SQL Lab
2. Create a simple line chart off of this dataset
3. Delete the dataset and make a new one )with the exact same fields + some new ones). At this point, the chart has no dataset
4. Use the "Edit Datset" option in the "Chart Source" field and select a new dataset.

Any help would be appreciated.
