All FAQ's assume mysql connection is the problem when I lookup localhost
I cannot get back to an address like this --http://localhost:8088/superset/dashboard/p/BZpV03BwYD4/
from where I left off yesterday.
Installation instructions are written for Docker, etc. as if localhost servers didn't already exist on the localhost machine.
I already had a Mamp localhost server running for my other php/mysql projects.
Somehow I got my Docker install running at http://localhost:8808 as the Superset default.
As was recommended for Docker I gave my Docker container for superset a file path outside of my other localhost sites.
on my macpro in my installation drive it is users/myname/superset/ & here all files of superset plus Docker container files
However, last night I took the latest Mac osx update, which involved multiple shutdowns & restarts.
Today I restarted Mamp for mysql and apache localhost
I cannot get my superset installation to run in the browser at that last dashboard reference with either Not Found or a files view of the superset folder and files.
Superset did not work unless I had the Mamp mysql port running at 3306. This server connects to my Sequel Pro admin tool. But updating and restarting my Superset container as an initial login also does not work --
http://localhost:8088/superset/login Cannot Connect
If I restart the Mamp localhost at this port address the same url Is Not Found.
What are instructions to people who already had an existing Mamp or Wamp or other localhost set up before uploading & installing Superset?
My Mamp reference path for localhost superset is correct and worked for the past week.
My Superset installation used my Mamp mysql server at port 3306.
Now I can't get Superset to run under my pre-existing localhost apache 8088.
Is the Docker installation running on another localhost apache server?
Can I find the config file for Superset and make sure its PHP server aligns with my Mamp php apache server?
I hope someone will drop in with some advice at how to resolve this conflict!
