What data are transfered to MAPBOX when I use a map chart ?

Hello,
I have a security question about using a map chart with MAPBOX.
IS MAPBOX only used to show a map under my data ?
When superset call MAPBOX what are the data transfered for this tools ? only the longitude and latitude ?
For instance, When I chose deck.gl Grid slice, is the data of the height parameter are transfered via the Mapbox API to MAPBOX ?
