Like the title says, Torchie functionality somehow disables Nova Launcher gestures that use two fingers, like dual swipe down or pinch. One-finger gestures still work, though.

My Huawei T1 7.0 is on KitKat.

UPDATE: Torchie functionality does not only disable Nova Launcher gestures, but ALL gestures that use more than one finger.
