What are the steps to reproduce this bug?

I am using the "AnkiDroid small" widget (as I understand it, it is required to make notifications work). But after the last big update to AnkiDroid, which I received recently, the widget no longer updates. It only updates if I open AnkiDroid (e.g. by clicking the widget).

Expected behaviour

Widget updated automatically.
