  For a card to be included, it must be reasonably easy to memorise. This excludes places with very long or unpronounceable names, or with little geographical and historical significance. The "country information" field may be used to provide interesting facts to help with memorisation.

v2.0

This constitutes the initial release. The version number starts at v2.0 to differentiate this deck from its predecessor: Ultimate Geography v1.0. This version brings the following list of changes:

Structural changes

• rename note type to "Ultimate Geography" to avoid conflicts with other decks
• rename and reorder fields (country > capital > flag > map) and note templates
• remove inconsistent bolding of country names
• strip HTML from all fields: <span>, <i>, etc. (except <img /> of course)
• remove pronunciation hints
• improve design of cards
• add three new fields and update note templates to display them when relevant:
  • "Country info" (typically for alternative names or governance information) - when provided, shown on the front side of "Country > Capital" cards and on the back side of the other cards
  • "Capital info" (typically for countries with multiple capitals) - when provided, shown on the back side of "Country > Capital" cards
  • "Capital hint" (typically for capitals that share the same name) - when provided, shown on the front side of "Capital > Country" cards

• remove card "Siberia" due to the inaccuracy of its map and ambiguous definition of the region (cf. Siberia on Wikipedia)
• removed card "Tahiti" due to the poor quality of its map and the fact that it is an island of the larger territory of "French Polynesia" (which has its own card)
