Description

The Open source programs website currently does not have a homepage. We need to finalize the content to be included in the homepage so that the users can get better clarity on what the website is about.

Additional context

Currently the landing page, ie, the first page that any user sees when they visit the osp website is the Login page. A mock for the login page can be found here for reference.

Definition of Done

  • The basic headings that can be included in the homepage are finalized
  • Approval by 2 mentors

WELCOME TO OPEN SOURCE PROGRAMS
This project aims towards simplifying the management work of the maintainers, mentors and the
organization by listing all the important details in one view. This will benefit the community by
simplifying the screening process, especially by cutting down the manual work being done by the
mentors to track student progress. Currently, most of the work is done on chat channels. Tracking
issues, tasks or upcoming meetups or evaluations are not possible on chat systems. Also various
hyperlinks such as Github profile, blogs, repositories , Google Docs, Open sessions/Meetups are
scattered in a chat system. The goal is to make the process of reviewing and notifying simpler,
systematic and manageable.

@khushishikhu this looks good overall. Regarding the "about", the project was originally proposed here from the community. I would tag @mayburgos as they were the main project manager for this ^^
Thank you for coming up with this initial version, it's definitely in the right direction! 👏 🚀
