What would you like to be added:
sometimes when i have a large SBOM from syft, I need a lot of memory to execute grype scan (which can be much larger).
may you consider a way to execute a scan by chunking the sbom into parts, and saving them into a merged file to reduce memory in RAM?
Why is this needed:
reduce memory in RAM when trying to scan large SBOMs

Thanks @TimBrown1611!

If anyone starts looking at streaming the data rather than reading it all at once, then this issue in syft is potentially related: anchore/syft#3263
