Save couple of data JSON files

+1, this could be very useful just as a .json file. Maybe create a new dir for this

the way we did it at work, we just had a data/ directory within the main app dir

thinking that BeamServer could extend the EventEmitter object and fire an event on a new connection or a dropped connection. We could attach a save function on each of the events.
