READMEs for GOV.UK applications vs GDS Way documentation on READMEs #4320

The manual page about READMEs for GOV.UK applications provides a different template than the GDS Way's documentation on writing READMEs.

Is there a preferred option and, if so, would it be helpful if I were to submit a PR to update the manual or the GDS Way documentation accordingly?
