Incorrect time stamp

Description of the bug

Articles published to Apple News show a time of 8 hours earlier than the actual time of publication. We are CA, on Pacific time, and articles published at 7:45 a.m. local time are shown with a time stamp of the previous day at 11:45 p.m.

I forgot to add that our server's time stamp is correct, as is the listing in iCloud Newspublisher.

My guess is that your WordPress site is set to UTC time instead of Pacific time. Pacific time is UTC - 8, which would explain the 8 hour difference. Go to Settings > General and check the timezone. If it is set to UTC+0, that's likely the problem.

The server is set to "Los Angeles" or Pacific time. The correct time stamp shows up in iCloud but not in News.

If it's correct in iCloud but not News, I'd recommend following up with Apple about why, since that's in their ecosystem.
