I've noticed that whenever I boot up the Alpha and either launch apps at boot or manually later on that the x360 and PS4 (DS4 Windows) controllers do not appear to be active and I am unable to navigate hivemind using the controllers.

The hotkeys for the controllers are working when this occurs; if I transition to 'cursor' mode using the hotkeys the controllers start to respond!

While in cursor mode if I press the 'A' and 'B' buttons a couple of times and then transition out of cursor mode the controllers begin to respond again outside of cursor mode as expected.... Very strange. I can then navigate hivemind normally.

This isn't too big of an issues since I've determined a work-around, but annoying nonetheless.

Thanks!!

Problem is related to launching programs in hivemind. I am launching two programs at boot DS4Windows and evga precision. When I disable both of these, controllers behave correctly.

Even launching programs manually in hivemind will cause the reported behavior. Face buttons, joysticks, d-pad, etc. all stop working. You must toggle to cursor mode via the hot keys and then attempt to select something. Now if you toggle back to gamepad mode the controler behaves as intended. This issues appears to have nothing at all to do with the steam controller / adapter; however, hivemind's 'program launching' within Kodi.
