replying doesn't work if using classicPress

I'm using this plugin in conjunction with classic Press, version 2.1, and activity pub integration.
when I press the reply button, it throws me to add a friend page.

Hi, I currently don't have a ClassicPress install to test this. Would you be so kind to check your PHP error log if there is something that reveals what is broken here? Thanks!

it's easy to do install on  xamp or stuff like that, but let me see if I can get error logs.
