How to enable cross chat memory?

I love this project and could be super useful once all the kinks are out.

Is cross chat memory enabled by default? I am not sure if this is a bug or the feature is not enabled on my part.

for example:
I open a chat session and tell it my name. it said it remembered it and saved it to memory.
I open another chat session and ask it what is my name and it doesn't seem to know it.

Is there a way to enabled global memory? This would be a super useful personal assistant.
