Does not compile in Flutter 1.0

I was testing this package.. I faced a number of challenges compiling it with Flutter 1.0.
One of the issue is difference in SDK versions. The other issue is that it generate several errors when compiled for both ios and android. I am wondering if the plugin could be updated to work with the latest version Flutter.
