ImportError: no module named 'warnings'

when using the mpy as provided here https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_CircuitPython_Bundle/releases/download/20230711/adafruit-circuitpython-bundle-8.x-mpy-20230711.zip

the simple example does not work. warnings doesnt seem to be present in the bundle or the core 8.2 either.
